  imBT8171是一个多通道信号完整性测试系统,适用于手动或自动描述多车道串行数据通道或电气和光学设备,其运行速度在9.95Gb/s到32Gb/s之间(它通过可选择的比特率解决所有通用标准速度)。


  imBT8171通过USB接口与主机控制器(BU7535)合作,由电脑GUI控制。 该PPRBS输出光N RZ波形,比特率在9.95G~32Gbps以内,可设置数据模式为27 -1,29 -1,215 -1,223 -1,231 -1和一个固定的40位用户定义模式。 该误码测试仪BERT系统由外部计算机通过USB端口控制,具有完整的软件支持、驱动程序和自动化编程指南。

The imBT8171 is a high performance, easy to use, 8 Lanes, cost-effective, 8 x 32 Gb/s Bit Error-Rate Tester (BERT) for current 100 G TOSA/ROSA components R&D and manufacturing environments as well as field installations. It is fully features for characterizing crosstalk susceptibility, backplanes, and multi-lane serial data systems, and it is also a good tool for production testing of AOC and electro-optical modules.


The imBT8171 incorporates an internal reference clock, a pattern generator, clock recovery circuits, and a BER analyzer, in one compact module that provides both electrical and optical interfaces at data rates up to 32 Gb/s.


The imBT8171 is cooperated with a Main Frame Controller (BU7535) through USB interface to be controlled by laptop GUI. The PPRBS outputs optical NRZ waveform with bit rate within 9.95G ~ 32 Gbps, with settable data pattern of 27-1, 29-1, 215-1, 223-1, 231-1, and a fixed 40-bit user-defined pattern. The BERT system is controlled by external computer via a USB port, with full software support, drivers and programming guide for automation.

The imBT8171 is a multi-channel signal integrity test system ideal for manual or automated characterizing multi-lane serial data channels or electrical and optical devices running at speeds between 9.95Gb/s to 32Gb/s(It addresses all common standard speeds via selectable bit rates).

Data rate

The imBT8171 can address all common standard speeds via selectable bit rates between 9.95Gb/s and 32Gb/s. Any data rate within this range can be customized added.


Operating system

The software supplied runs on embedded Touchscreen GUI or Windows 7 with .NET v4.0, by a USB 2.0 interface.

BU7535 Main Frame Controller 

for imBT8171 Eight-Channel 32Gb/s BERT (V 1.0)


The BU7535 is the Main Frame Controller for imBT8171 four-channel-32Gb/s BERT. The imBT8171 can be controlled by external computer via a USB port through BU7535.One BU7535 can support two sets imBT8171 to be expanded as 8 channel 32Gb/s BERT.
